The drug testing conditions for Mike Tyson’s comeback against Jake Paul have caused concern with two weeks remaining until fight night.
World Boxing News reported first on April 8 that drug testing was mandatory for any fighter in the state of Texas, according to Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation [TDLR] Communications Director Tela Mange. At the time, she told WBN that “Contestants who fight in Texas are subject to random drug testing. Combatants over the age of 36 are also required to pass an EKG and an EEG.”
