After Ryan Garcia tested positive for Ostarine, a PED, the boxing world was again concerned about the effectiveness of drug testing and the integrity of the sport. Now that the Paris Olympics is around the corner, the founder of BALCO Laboratories and CEO of SNAC System, Victor Conte, shed light on the current scenario of drug testing, especially concerning the Olympics.
According to Victor Conte, the drug-testing method being used before the 2024 Paris Olympics makes it “very easy for athletes to use PEDs.” As Conte told Insider, “They have in-competition tests and out-of-competition tests. And during the out-of-competition, they don’t even test for about 80 stimulants and narcotics.”
